The Department is seeking to undertake an open Request for Tender for the renewal of approximately 5,200 cores of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) subscription licensing, including associated software maintenance and vendor support services

  • Tenders will initially be assessed for compliance with the requirements set out in the Request for Tender document, Part E – Lodgment of Tenders, Evaluation and Complaints. In addition, compliance with the Conditions for Participation includes the provision of all information requested in the RFT.
  • Tenderers must demonstrate the ability to supply VMware Cloud Foundation Licenses via the VMware Cloud Foundation authorised reseller channel. Tenderers may be requested to identify the VMware Cloud Foundation Authorised Partner through which the proposed pricing has been sourced, to enable verification by the Department.
  • These criteria will not be point scored. Tenders will be assessed on a Yes/No basis as to whether each criterion is satisfactorily met. An assessment of ‘No’ against any criterion may eliminate the Tenderer from further consideration.
  • Compliant tenders will then be assessed against a set of weighted qualitative criteria set out in Part B.
