This procurement is a covered procurement and is therefore subject to the provisions of one, or several of the Free Trade Agreements listed at the bottom of this page.

The procuring entity reserves the right to conduct negotiations with tenderers during this procurement process.

This tender is for the procurement of an in-market representative to provide full time strategic oversight, marketing and trade engagement for Tourism Tasmania within the United States of America.

The role delivers strategic marketing planning and budget management, trade and consumer marketing campaigns, travel trade and partner account management, and market insights and intelligence, along with training and support for US travel trade partners.

This will help grow Tasmania's profile, trade relationships and visitation from this priority international market

  • State-wide
  • Submission of a compliant and completed tender form.
  • Supplier has or can quickly establish on-ground physical presence located in the USA to ensure sufficient delivery of the on-the-ground service delivery functions described within this suite of documentation. (For clarity, a lack of physical presence within the USA does not preclude potential suppliers from bidding.)
  • Supplier confirms no current or knowledge of any upcoming legal proceedings, investigations, or regulatory actions against it that would materially affect its capacity to perform the Services.
  • The Supplier must not be insolvent, in liquidation, under external administration, receivership, or any equivalent process under the governing law of its place of corporation or establishment.
  • Supplier confirms commitment to travel to Australia/Tasmania/within the USA when requested for the purposes of performing the Services.
  • Supplier must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interests with Tourism Tasmania, the Crown in Right of Tasmania, or any staff member of either Tourism Tasmania or the Crown in Right of Tasmania.
  • The Supplier must hold, or confirm the ability to obtain prior to contract execution, the following insurances at the levels specified in the Contract Information Table: Public Liability (Commercial General Liability), Workers' Compensation (or equivalent), Professional Indemnity (Errors and Omissions), Cyber Security (Cyber Liability), (or equivalent statutory cover in the Tenderer's home jurisdiction or area of incorporation).
