This Request for Tender seeks to engage a suitably qualified contractor for the construction of the new Tasmanian Youth Justice Facility at 466 Brighton Road, Pontville.

Prequalification

Only Contractors prequalified with the Department of Treasury and Finance Prequalification Scheme are eligible to tender. Tenderers must be prequalified at or above $50,000,000, or to a value equal to or greater than the tendered price. Contractors must also be prequalified under the National Prequalification Scheme for Non-residential Building (Construct Only) at or above $100,000,000 or to a value equal to the tendered price.

Additional Information

An industry pre-tender briefing session about this RFT and the
procurement will be held online via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, 25 August 2026 at 2pm (Hobart time). Persons who wish to attend the briefing session must pre-register with the Contact Officer on or before 5:00 pm Monday, 24 August 2026 (Hobart time).
IMPORTANT NOTE TO TENDERERS: Access to the Request for Tender Volume 2 will be via a dedicated Virtual Data Room. Access will be granted to Tenderers upon written request to the Contact Officer, and completion of an Access Form and Confidentiality Deed
