This procurement is a covered procurement and is therefore subject to the provisions of one, or several of the Free Trade Agreements listed at the bottom of this page.

The procuring entity reserves the right to conduct negotiations with tenderers during this procurement process.

Readvertising (DECYP 1649) of a Standing Offer Panel of Conciliators/Facilitators for a term of five years commenced on 21 August 2024 for:

  • Compulsory Conciliation in response to non-attendance at school, 

  • Family Group Conferencing in response to children identified as being at risk, and 

  • Community Conferencing in response to offences committed by young people.

Additional submissions are sought from suitable suppliers to undertake the services, and interested suppliers can submit a bid at any time fefore 2pm on 7 Februray 2029.

  • PART A: CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
  • • Access to own transportation;
  • • Hold a C class drivers licence;
  • • Hold or provide evidence that they have applied for or are willing to apply for at their own cost, a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
  • • Hold or provide evidence that they have applied for or are willing to apply for a current National Police Check at their own cost, covering crimes of violence, sex related offences, serious drug offences and crimes involving dishonesty.
  • • Be willing to undergo a Proof of Identity Check (100-Point Identification Check) if they have not previously undergone a Departmental check of this nature. This involves a
  • department representative sighting a combination of the supplier’s identification documents and signing an acknowledgement form, which is then retained by the Department.
  • • Willing to Complete Confidentiality Declaration.
  • • Be willing to take out the appropriate level and type of insurance.
  • • Be willing to complete the Department’s Safeguarding Training for Contractors.
