Tenders will be invited to procure the services of one or more providers who can provide the required Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) support and maintenance to ensure the currency and reliability of the Department’s vitally important server software assets.
This software is:
·         VMware
·         Comm Vault
 The services provide the Department with updates on new releases, upgrades or service patches as and when they are released by the respective vendor for the Department’s consideration. These services are to include, but not be limited to:
1)      Product roadmap information
2)      Information and updates on new releases, upgrades, or service patches as and when they are released by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
3)      Performance, stability and security vulnerabilities, mitigations, and fixes as soon as they become available from the OEM
4)      Minimum six months notification of product end of sale, end of support or end of life dates.
