The Department of Police and Emergency Management (DPEM) on behalf of Tasmania Police, Tasmania Fire Service, the State Emergency Service and Ambulance Tasmania are seeking to implement an integrated common Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system across the four agencies.  Each agency will maintain its own communications facility, but will operate from a single CAD platform.

  • It is anticipated that if the opportunity proceeds to tender, a pre-tender briefing will be held at 47 Liverpool Street, Hobart between 10am and 2pm on Monday, 5 October 2015. Subject to operational demands, there may be an opportunity to inspect the current communications centres on that date.
