The Tasmanian Health Organisation – North West (THO-NW) and North (THO-N)  are seeking to engage a provider (or providers) of Rural Medical Services and General Practice Services on a long term basis for the Tasmanian West Coast Local Government Area and King Island in North West Tasmania (5 year initial contract with 5 year option).
 
Tenderers can tender for one service area or a combination of service areas.
 
Innovative and alternative tenders are encouraged.
Tenderers will provide information on 3 scenarios
  • Status Quo (continuation of current arrangements) being
    • Emergency Care
    • On Call Service
    • Inpatient Care
    • Residential Aged Care
    • General Practice Services (privately operated)
  • Provision of a price limited service (ensuring at least delivery of minimum essential requirements)
  • Innovative / Alternative proposals
