Description

To facilitate the collection and presentation of Property Valuation, Condition Assessment, Accessibility Audit and Hazardous Materials information in relation to all or part of Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) owned properties and associated assets including Stations, Support buildings, residences and land holdings owned by DPFEM and State Fire Commission (SFC).

Property Valuations will collect and report information relating to the valuation of DPFEM’s property portfolio, as required under the Financial Management Act 2016 and Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) 116- Property, Plant and Equipment. Valuations to utilise replacement cost and market approach methodologies, detailing insurable value of property portfolio.
Property Condition Assessments will collect and produce data relating to the overall property condition and inform DPFEM of current and future maintenance liabilities of the property portfolio, including creation of individual floor plans.
Accessibility Compliance Audit will identify sites that comply, partially comply or do not comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (1992), National Construction Code (NCC), International Best Practice and other key accessibility guidelines.
Hazardous Material Reporting is to include identification of materials that potentially contain hazardous substances and report on the condition or stability of the associated asbestos. Hazardous Substance register to be updated and information provided to Districts and Regions.
The Supplier may provide separate lump sum pricing for any or all the following Parts:
• PART A: Valuations
• PART B: Condition Assessments;
• PART C Accessibility Compliance; and
• PART D: Hazardous Materials.
Pricing submissions for individual Parts will be considered independently. Specifications regarding the data format and requirements will be defined in the Tender documentation
