The Department for Education, Children and Young People will soon be calling for responses to a Request for Tender (RFT) for the Early Works contract to support the delivery of the new Tasmanian Youth Justice Facility.

This contract will deliver an access road, water supply, and communications conduit prior to the commencement of the main works.

  • To assist potential suppliers to prepare for this RFT, respondents should note that they must be:
  • • Pre-qualified to the level: R2 and F5 under the Department of State Growth’s Civil Prequalification Scheme for Roads and Bridges Contracts.
  • • Certified against AS/NSZ ISO 9001, AS/NSZ ISO 14001, and AS/NSZ 4801 or ISO 45001.
