  • Trunk Mobile Radio Network (TMRN) Operation and Maintenance Services Tender

DPEM intends to issue a tender for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the Trunk Mobile Radio Network (TMRN), used by Tasmania Police, TasNetwoks, Hydro and the SES.  A contract for services will be established with the successful tenderer or a period of 3 years with the option of two 1-year options.  DPEM requires tht O&M services are delivered using the existing network equipment, infrastructure and reporting systems as far is practicable.
 
The TMRN will continue to operate until a new Whole of Government (WoG) radio network solution has been implemented.  The WoG project will be procured via a separate tender process.

The tender will be a two stage process, with the first stage requiring that all prospective tenderers confirm that they can provide O&M services using the current proprietary EDACSIP technology, prior to being able to progress to the second, full tender phase.
