  • Procurement via the Technology Services Multi-Use List
  • • The Technology Services Multi-Use List (TSL) commenced on 16 August 2021. Tasmanian Government agencies use it to procure in-scope technology services valued at $100 000 or more.
  • • The department will be procuring these services via the TSL.
  • • As a result, respondents must be registered members of the TSL as a mandatory requirement of the RFT process.
  • • If not already registered, potential respondents should investigate becoming registered members of the list as a matter of urgency. The Department has been advised that there is a lead time (4 to 6 weeks) for processing applications once received, so that process should commence promptly.
  • • Additional detail on the TSL, including the application process, can be found here: https://www.purchasing.tas.gov.au/contracts/technology-services-multi-use-list
  • Scope of Services and Optional Consortium Register
  • • The RFT will be seeking a single accountable provider for the provision of the full scope of Implementation Partner services (as listed above).
  • • It is anticipated there are potential respondents who can offer only a partial scope of the services or may not possess the desired level of capabilities across the full scope of services.
  • • As part of the RFT process, DPFEM will offer potential respondents an opportunity to register their intent to form a consortium. This is not a requirement of the RFT and respondents will be free to seek out partners outside of this process, but they may wish to use this facility to identify potential partners who are interested in providing a proposal.
  • • To use this optional facility, respondents will need to register their company, contact details, scope of services they offer, and scope services they are seeking from partners. Any respondents that register will receive a list of other respondents that register and have an opportunity to contact other respondents on the list to explore whether partnerships can be formed.
  • • Only respondents that register will receive the list, and it is up to a respondent to contact any other respondent on the list as there will be no involvement by DPFEM. Each time a new respondent registers, the list will be updated and sent out to all registered respondents.
  • • To register, respondents must contact the RFT Contact Officer, who will provide an email template.
  • • DPFEM will apply a cut-off date to accept new registrations (prior to closure of the RFT response window).
  • Market Presentation / Pre-Briefing
  • • To better contextualise the Project, the scope of services and the detail outlined above, the Department will provide a pre-recorded briefing to the market prior to the release of the RFT.
  • • The recorded briefing will be distributed to registered recipients on the day of Wednesday 15 March 2023.
  • • To register to receive a link to the briefing, please contact the Contact Officer.
  • • It is expected other briefing sessions will also take place later in the RFT process, and after the RFT has been released and open for submissions.
