Description

The Department is planning to implement two new mental health facilities in the North of the State. The Launceston project has total project funding of $80M and the Burnie project has total project funding of $40M. The Department seeks to appoint a single lead design consultant with a team of subconsultants to both projects and conduct a concurrent design process with both projects under common governance.

Additional Information

The Lead Design Consultant shall lead its full subconsultant team to provide health facility planning, architecture, engineering (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic), site infrastructure utilities design, DDA, building surveyor, fire safety, landscape design, interior design, graphics and other specialists.
Services are to be provided across all design stages and which shall continue through construction with technical advice to be provided for each project through the separately appointed Superintendent(s).
