The contractor provides Rural Medical Services at the Tasmanian West Coast and King Island in North West Tasmania. 

In general terms, the services provided are:

  1. Continuous medical service coverage
  2. Emergency medical care services for Hospital Patients only
  3. Inpatient care services
  4. Residential aged care services initiated by referral from THS
  5. Limited scope radiography services for Hospital Patients only
The Contractor will also provide their own private general practice services to the community.
