The Tasmanian Government, represented by TMD, is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to supply a whole consultation service or separate streams of consultation work to create a feasibility study and strategic roadmap for Tasmanian State Service (TSS) Human Resource & Payroll Infrastructure.

The current whole-of-government HR & Payroll infrastructure is used by almost all Agencies and Statutory Authorities. This system has been in place for 17 years and it is time to comprehensively review the solution and the way it is implemented. The Tasmanian State Service has a total of 28,000 employees across 43 awards and agreements and the 10 payroll systems calculate and pay nearly $1B each year.
