Proposals are invited to manage and operate the Hellyer student residence, which provides accommodation for senior secondary students attending Hellyer College and the Tasmanian Polytechnic, Burnie Campus. The hostel is situated in the grounds of the College at 41 - 43 Mooreville Road Burnie and has a capacity to accommodate up to 76 students. The facilities also include 2 two bedroom manager's units.

Interested persons are invited to submit a proposal which should take into account the need to provide supervised accommodation in a supportive and caring environment for male and female students aged generally between fifteen to eighteen years. The College/Polytechnic year runs for approximately thirty eight weeks. When the facility is not required for student accommodation it may be used for other commercial purposes compatible with a student hostel environment.
