Procurement for this tender was based on an existing contract between Australian Antarctic Division and P&O Maritime Services. This contract resulted from a previous tender for supply of Antarctic shipping support. Under this arrangement, agreed between PWS and AAD, the AAD have agreed to supply shipping services to support the Macquarie Island Pest Eradication Project.
