The proposed redevelopment of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) is intended to transform one of Australia's oldest collecting institutions into a modern cultural facility. The purpose of this Request For Tender is to seek the services of a suitably qualified heritage professional to undertake the following work: prepare a document that elaborates on the heritage strategy set out in the TMAG Masterplan; prepare a Statement of Significance for the entire TMAG site; develop conservation management policies; and consolidate documentation to form a heritage management plan.
