To meet the development's requirements, a new dedicated 750 kVA kiosk substation will be constructed on site, together with associated high-voltage and low-voltage network infrastructure. The works include installation of underground high-voltage cables, switching equipment, a dedicated courthouse supply connection, and network upgrades that will also strengthen electricity supply within the Burnie CBD. Permanent easements will be required for the underground cable routes, and ongoing access to the substation will be maintained for TasNetworks operations and maintenance.
