A research project that will provide a foundation for evidence-informed policy, enable enhanced service delivery, and guide targeted communication strategies for gambling support services in Tasmania. Findings will be used to:

  • Identify key barriers preventing people in lower socio-economic and rural areas from accessing gambling harm support.
  • Inform policy recommendations to improve accessibility and effectiveness of gambling support services.
  • Develop targeted outreach strategies and community education programs and campaigns tailored to the unique challenges of disadvantaged communities.
  • Enhance interventions for gambling harm reduction.
