The Wilfred Lopes Centre (WLC) is a secure mental health facility and provides the care and treatment for people with mental health issues who are involved with the criminal system or found Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity or Unfit to Plead and placed on a Forensic Order. The Department has engaged an appropriately qualified and resourced organisation for the supply, upgrade and install of the replacement radio/duress system for the centre.
