Description

The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to seek a head contractor to undertake major works at the University of Tasmania (UTAS) Stadium, including:

Demolition of existing Function Centre
Partial Demolition of existing Eastern Stand and Western Stand
Refurbishment of existing Eastern Stand Roof
Construction of new Centre West Stand, Western Stand seating infill, Southeast Entry Plaza and Eastern Stand seating bowl and amenities.

Clause 2 is applicable. A briefing session will be hosted by the Principal about the RFT and associated conditions of contract, as follows: Location: Via MS Teams only. Date and time: Tuesday, 21 January 2025 at 11.00am (Hobart time) Persons who wish to attend the briefing session must pre-register with the Contact Officer prior to the session in order to be provided with the MS Teams link to the session. Further to this, an industry pre-tender briefing session and site inspection will be held as follows: Location: On site at UTAS Stadium, 2 Invermay Road, Invermay. Date and time: Thursday, 23 January 2025 at 11.30am (Hobart time) Persons who wish to attend the briefing session must pre-register with the Contact Officer on or before 2pm Wednesday, 22 January 2025 (Hobart time).
