Description
The Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources is redeveloping the Tasmanian Motor Registry System (MRS). The redevelopment will not be a 'greenfields' development. The redevelopment will be based on the adoption and adaptation of a motor registry system from the Australian Capital Territory (rego.act). The Department is seeking to identify suitably qualified organisations to submit expressions of interest to tender for the redevelopment of the Tasmanian MRS. The tender for the redevelopment is scheduled to be released during the last quarter of 2006.
