The Supplier of Technical Lead Services will have oversight of the development team, act as Scrum Master, and embed best practice technical approaches and processes across the program team. The Supplier will also provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of development roadmaps and key architecture documents.

• Since 2014, the Department of State Growth (Tasmania) has been developing the award-winning Heavy Vehicle Access Management System (HVAMS). • Using advanced technology, HVAMS enhances the standard, ‘static’ notice system by calculating a network specific to a particular vehicle and its load, consistent with the access decisions pre-set by road managers. In many cases, this means operators can access higher productivity and lower costs than can be achieved under a (more restrictive) static notice. • In July 2023, Infrastructure and Transport Senior Officials agreed that the National Automated Access System (NAAS) would be based on the HVAMS platform. • Location of this procured service is flexible.
