Description

The purpose of this contract is to deliver the annual road pavement marking maintenance program for the following infrastructure:

State Road network in the North East, North West and Southern regions including King Island and Flinders Island (Bruny Island is now included as part of the Southern Region maintenance contract).
29 local Council road networks across the state through a contribution by the State Government.

Pavement marking maintenance services are an essential component of the overall maintenance of the road network. Works are typically delivered on an annual basis in accordance with the annual funding cycle.

A panel contract framework will be used to enable the flexibility to appoint multiple prequalified contractors to deliver the services state-wide and be adaptable to the Department of State Growth's programming requirements.

A pre-Tender briefing session will be held as follows: Location: Online only via MS Teams. In person attendance is not permitted at the Pre-Tender Briefing. Date: Monday, 15 May 2023 Time: 10am (Hobart time) Tenderers are to advise the Contact Officer of their intent to attend the Pre-Tender Briefing via email to the contractservices@stategrowth.tas.gov.au. Notice of intent to attend is to be provided prior to COB on Friday 12 May 2023.
