Phase 1 - Briefing on Stadium Vision
At the commencement of the project, an inception meeting will be held with key members of the ST team to discuss and agree on ST’s vision for the Stadium development.
The purpose of the meeting will be to:
- Gain an insight into STs aspirations for the Stadium.
- Confirm the extent of stakeholder consultation that needs to be undertaken.
- Identify and confirm the operational and commercial outcomes that are expected to be achieved from ST’s perspective from the Stadium.
Phase 2 – Consultation and Key User Group Engagement
Phase 2 will involve conducting individual meetings with key users (and potential user groups) to identify key facility and service requirements together with any specific performance requirements for the stadium design that will support their intended use.
In addition to the above prospective user groups, consultation will be undertaken with existing venue operators to determine key operational learnings.
The consultation (particularly with sports, but also other key user groups) will confirm key minimum standards documents, as well as capturing the most current industry research and benchmarks to inform the User Brief.
Phase 3 –Schedule of Accommodation
Utilising the information gleaned from Phases 1 & 2, a schedule of accommodation will be prepared.
It is noted that input from an architect may be required during this phase to confirm spatial requirements for key elements. The successful consultant will engage with ST to recommend a suitable firm with appropriate stadium experience should this be required.
Phase 4 – Draft User Brief
Draft a comprehensive User Brief documenting outcomes from the above phases for ST feedback. The report will be prepared in a concise manner that clearly outlines ST and User Group performance, operational and commercial expectations of the Stadium.
Phase 5 – Final User Brief
Following feedback from ST, a final User Brief report will be provided.
