To undertake a review of the State's current legislation and policy relating to renewable energy project delivery that will assist the Principal to:

  • Identify opportunities for improvement of the current regulatory framework;
  • Understand the options for strategic assessments to assist in the delivery of several major renewable energy projects within a region, including consideration of cumulative impacts;
  • Prioritise regulatory improvements to enable interim 2030 targets;
  • Draft web collateral on ReCFIT's website, as a central repository for investors and the community seeking access to information on regulatory requirements; and 
  • Evolve the major project facilitation function to assist developers to meet the Government's priorities.
