Instructure has been the incumbent provider of TasTAFE's Learning Management System - Canvas for for several years and the system is deeply embedded in TasTAFE’s training and assessment models across multiple delivery teams. The LMS has been tightly integrated with enrolment, identity management, student management, video conferencing, business intelligence and office 365 services. Continuity of service was judged as important and the costs of changing supplier was judged to be substantial in terms of disruption and transition out and in costs.

Provision of a Learning Management System (Canvas) via the Internet that includes a range of customisable course creation, learning resource and management tools as well as course and user analytics and statistics, and internal communication tools.  The system enables instructional designers and instructors to create and share course content and foster a collaborative and interactive learning experience.
