Expressions of interest are invited from training organisations that wish to be considered for inclusion on a register of skills development providers, to be available to deliver training funded through the Workforce Development Fund. It is expected that the Workforce Development Fund Provider Register will be in operation from November 2004 until December 2005. Training organisations listed as potential providers on the Workforce Development Fund Provider Register may be invited by participating Tasmanian small to medium business enterprises to deliver a range of, both nationally recognised and non-accredited training in accordance with the enterprise's Approve Business and Training Plan. The Workforce Development Fund is funded by the Tasmanian Government and jointly managed by the Department of Economic Development and the Department of Education through the Office of Post-Compulsory Education and Training.  The Program offers a range of skill development and training opportunities to operators, employees of small to medium sized enterprises in Tasmania.
