The objective is that Tasmania police officers will obtain skills to keep themselves, colleagues or members of the public alive in the event of major trauma, within challenging hostile environments, until a suitably medically trained individual arrives.

The aim of the tender is for the provider to deliver contemporary tactical first aid training to the level required for frontline police response and specialist groups.


  • State-wide

  • The following conditions for participation apply:
  • 1. If the Tenderer is a corporation, the Tenderer must not be an externally administered body corporate (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • 2. If the Tenderer is a subsidiary of another body corporate (for the purposes of the Corporations Act), that other body corporate must not be an externally administered body corporate (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • 3. If the Tenderer is a corporation, the Tenderer must have the corporate power to enter into, and perform, a contract for the delivery of the Supplies in accordance with the Contract Information Table, the General Conditions of Contract and the Specification.
  • 4. If the Tenderer is an individual, the Tenderer must not be an insolvent under administration (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • Note: If the Tender is a Joint Bid, each of the conditions for participation apply separately in relation to each entity forming part of the Joint Bid.
