The scope of this project includes the extensive refurbishment of the existing RHH Level 4 D-Block Holding Bay, and existing Recovery Bay. This includes a complete demolition of the existing space, new radiation shielding, reconfiguration of services such as electrical, hydraulic, ICT and medical gas, upgrade, and reconfiguration of HVAC systems, and the potential installation of new wet fire system (or equivalent alternative).

  • A mandatory site visit will be held on site on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, 10:30 am (Hobart time). Refer to Volume 1 of the RFT documents for further information.
  • Attendees must pre-register with the Contact Officer via infrastructure.contracts@health.tas.gov.au on or before 5:00pm, on Monday, 01 December 2025 (Hobart time).
  • Tenderers must familiarise themselves with RFT Volume 1, Attachment 4 - 'Information to be provided by Tenderer', when preparing their submission.
