The Supplier must deliver onboarding management services to lead the detailed onboarding phase with individual jurisdictions, and deliver agreed functional and non‑functional requirements for their release, as well as technical and change impact assessments. The Supplier of these ICT Professional Services must also develop comprehensive plans with key milestones, timelines and deliverables that align with the overarching program roadmap.

  • Since 2014, the Department of State Growth (Tasmania) has been developing the award-winning Heavy Vehicle Access Management System (HVAMS).
  • Using advanced technology, HVAMS enhances the standard, ‘static’ notice system by calculating a network specific to a particular vehicle and its load, consistent with the access decisions pre-set by road managers. In many cases, this means operators can access higher productivity and lower costs than can be achieved under a (more restrictive) static notice.
  • In July 2023, Infrastructure and Transport Senior Officials agreed that the National Automated Access System (NAAS) would be based on the HVAMS platform.
