Tenders are invited for the construction of 188 new residential lots, commercial lot and associated infrastructure at Huntingfield. 


  • South

  • The Tenderer must be prequalified under the prequalification scheme(s) noted in Attachment 7 to RFT Volume 1, in the applicable prequalification categories specified by the Principal in the relevant table in Attachment 7 to RFT Volume 1, to a financial level equal to or higher than the greater of:
  • (a) the applicable financial level specified by the Principal in the relevant table in Attachment 7 to RFT Volume 1; and
  • (b) the value of the Works (as specified by the Tenderer in the declaration included in the Tender in response to Attachment 7 to RFT Volume 1) which are relevant to the applicable prequalification category.
  • 2. If the Tenderer is a corporation, the Tenderer must not be an externally administered body corporate (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • 3. If the Tenderer is a subsidiary of another body corporate (for the purposes of the Corporations Act), that other body corporate must not be an externally administered body corporate (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • 4. If the Tenderer is a corporation, the Tenderer must have the corporate power to enter into, and perform, the Contract.
  • 5. If the Tenderer is an individual, the Tenderer must not be an insolvent under administration (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • Note: If the Tender is a Joint Bid, each of the conditions for participation apply separately in relation to each entity forming part of the Joint Bid.
  • Roads and Bridges
  • Only Contractors prequalified with the Department of State Growth under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts in the Roadworks/Bridgeworks Category R3 with a Financial Level of F15, or higher, are eligible to tender for this project.

  • Clause 2 is applicable. An industry pre-tender briefing session about this RFT and the procurement will be held in Hobart as follows:
  • Date and time: at 10.00 am (Hobart time) on Wednesday 18 September 2024.
  • Persons who wish to attend the briefing session must pre-register with the Contact Officer on or before 5.00 pm on Tuesday 17 September 2024 (Hobart time).
  • Industry pre-tender site inspection:
  • Clause 3 is applicable. An industry pre-tender site inspection for this RFT and the procurement will be held at Huntingfield as follows:
  • Date and time: at 12.00 pm (Hobart time) on Wednesday 18 September 2024; following the pre-tender briefing session.
  • Persons who wish to attend the site inspection must pre-register with the Contact Officer on or before 5.00 pm on Tuesday 17 September 2024 (Hobart time).
