Tenders are invited for one, or more, suitable Suppliers to Supply Intravenous, Irrigation and Haemofiltration Fluids (Category 1) and a Bulk Fluid Delivery Service to Hospital Wards (Category 2).

The Bulk Fluids must be must be registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) or manufactured in a TGA registered facility.


  • State-wide

  • Category 1 – Supply of Goods
  • 1. If the Tenderer is a corporation, the Tenderer must not be an externally administered body corporate (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • 2. If the Tenderer is a subsidiary of another body corporate (for the purposes of the Corporations Act), that other body corporate must not be an externally administered body corporate (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • 3. If the Tenderer is a corporation, the Tenderer must have the corporate power to enter into, and perform, a contract for the delivery of the Supplies in accordance with the Contract Information Table, the General Conditions of Contract and the Specification.
  • 4. If the Tenderer is an individual, the Tenderer must not be an insolvent under administration (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • Note: If the Tender is a Joint Bid, each of the conditions for participation apply separately in relation to each entity forming part of the Joint Bid.
  • 5. All Goods containing fluids (i.e. not ancillary items) must:-
  • a) have an Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) number; or
  • b) be manufactured in a facility holding a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) manufacturing licence appropriate to the Goods being tendered.
  • Category 2 – Supply of Services
  • 1. If the Tenderer is a corporation, the Tenderer must not be an externally administered body corporate (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • 2. If the Tenderer is a subsidiary of another body corporate (for the purposes of the Corporations Act), that other body corporate must not be an externally administered body corporate (as defined in section 9 of the Corporations Act).
  • 3. If the Tenderer is a corporation, the Tenderer must have the corporate power to enter into, and perform, a contract for the delivery of the Supplies in accordance with the Contract Information Table, the General Conditions of Contract and the Specification.
