Bridge strengthening works are required at the following locations:

Kanunnah Bridge, Sumac Road, 36.2km south of Smithton Post Shop; and

Derwent River Bridge, Gordon River Main Road, Bushy Park.

  • Only Contractors prequalified with the Department of State Growth under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts in the Bridgeworks Category B2 with a Financial Level of F2, or higher, are eligible to tender for this project.

  • A pre-Tender briefing session will be held as follows:
  • Location: Microsoft Teams only
  • Date: Tuesday, 22 November 2022
  • Time: 2:00pm (Tasmanian time)
  • Tenderers must advise the Contact Officer prior to 5pm Monday, 21 November 2022 of their intent to attend the Pre-Tender Briefing by emailing contractservices@stategrowth.tas.gov.au. Upon this notice, an invite to the Pre-Tender Briefing will be provided which will include a Microsoft Teams link.
