The Department of Education is looking to engage driving education and training schools and instructors to secure driving education and training in order to continue and expand the ‘Driving for Jobs’ program. The program aims to increase the number of young people going through the Graduated Licensing System (GLS) in targeted communities with levels of high socio-economic disadvantage.


  • State-wide

  • Tenderers are to provide:
  • - Evidence of Driving Licenses of each nominated employee;
  • - Evidence of Working with Vulnerable People Cards for each nominated employee;
  • - Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination for each nominated employee;
  • - Evidence of Ancillary Certificate in Driving Instruction – Tasmania;
  • - Evidence of dual control vehicles; and
  • - Evidence of current Insurance Policies (Certificates of Currency are acceptable)
