This design and construct contract is for the replacement of three timber bridges on Mathinna Plains Road and two timber bridges on Evercreech Road in the northeast of Tasmania.

  • It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005, at the time of entering into the contract for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.
  • Only Contractors prequalified with the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources in the categories nominated below, or higher, are eligible to tender for this project.
  • Bridge Category B2 and Financial Level F5.
