The supply of Group Life Insurance and Group Income Protection Insurance (ie Death, Permanent Incapacity, Terminal Illness and Temporary Incapacity cover) for the Retirement Benefits Fund in respect of members of the State Fire Commission Superannuation Scheme (SFCSS) and the Tasmanian Ambulance Service Superannuation Scheme (TASSS).

  • The following are conditions of participation which the Tenderer must comply with in order to have their Tender evaluated pursuant to this RFT:
  • (a) Recognised and acceptable legal entity: Tenderers are required to provide evidence of their legal status either by giving a copy of an official document such as company registration and names of office bearers issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission or an equivalent statement confirming the legal entity signed by a practicing solicitor (see section 1 of the Tender Form).
  • (b) Solvency: Tenderers who are insolvent at the time of submitting their Tender, or become insolvent at any time after the submission of the Tender but prior to execution of the agreement will be excluded from evaluation.
  • (c) Recognised accreditations: Tenderers must be approved as a regulated Life Insurance and Income Protection Insurance provider by Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and must hold a current Australian Financial Services Licence.
