Expressions of interest are invited from consultants to conduct environmental scans of services for young people in Tasmania. Commencing in October 2004, the scans will collect, analyse and report on the education, training, employment, and social support needs of young people in the North, South and Cradle Coast areas. Scans will include information on area demographics; labour markets; patterns of service provision, networks and partnerships; and young people's participation in education, training and employment. An environmental scan of young people in northern Tasmania was conducted in 2003 and requires updating only.
