Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced organisation’s for the:

  • supply, installation (including required construction and room fit-out), maintenance and support of a Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET-CT) Scanner and equipment including all necessary components. 
  • supply, installation (including required construction and room fit-out), maintenance and support of a Computed Tomography Scanner (CT) scanner and equipment including all necessary components.

Tenderers can tender for either or both the PET-CT scanner and CT scanner equipment. Each scanner will be awarded separately.


  • South

  • A mandatory site visit (in person or virtually)
  • The Tenderer must contact the Contact Officer by no later than 2pm Thursday 5 November 2020 (Tasmanian Time) to register for a site visit, and attend the subsequent site visit (virtually or in person) arranged by the Contact Officer, which will be held at 1:00pm – 2:30pm on Monday 9 November 2020. When registering for the site visit the Tenderer must provide the Contact Officer with the company, name and email address of any person attending the site visit and notify if they will be attending in person or virtually.
  • The mandatory site visit requirement reflects that it is important for Tenderers to accurately cost any required construction, implementation and commissioning costs of the relevant scanner.
