| Description | Registrations of Interest are sought from experienced consultants to undertake a planning study of the Cradle Gateway Development at Cradle Mountain. The Cradle Gateway Development consists of the development of: - A defined gateway to the Cradle Valley at the junction of Cradle Mountain Link Road and Cradle Mountain Road; and
- The Cradle Village to be located on the existing Cradle airstrip that is to provide additional tourist services and facilities.
The scope of the Planning Study will include: - Analysis of visitor demand followed by the preparation of a functional brief for the development of the Village;
- Development of optional concepts for the Village;
- Technical development of the preferred option for the Village development and preparation of a business case;
- Preparation of an environmental impact assessment followed by the preparation of an environmental management plan;
- Preparation of a development plan of the Village suitable for submission to the Kentish Council for planning approval.
