The Tasmanian State Government is seeking organisation/s interested in delivering and managing an affordable, supported residential facility at the previous Welcome Inn hotel/motel site in Kingston. The successful organisation/s will provide accommodation for a maximum of twenty mature single people who are eligible for public housing and who wish to live separately but in a communual environment with provision of meals and some recreational activities delivered within the facility.

Accomodation will generally be provided on a medium to long term basis.

It is envisaged that a start-up grant may be made available to the successful organisation/s, but essentially the facility will be self-funding through rental and other income.
