| Description | This contract involves construction of approximately 9km of new highway bypassing the Dilston locality including two junctions to link with the old highway. |
| Conditions of Participation | It is a requirement of this project that the persons contracted to undertake the construction work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme, established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2005, at the time of entering into the contract for the construction work and while the construction work is being carried out. Evidence of accreditation must be included with the tender submission.
The National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, in accordance with the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines, applies to this project. |
| Pre-qualification | Only Contractors pre-qualified with the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources under the following category is eligible to tender for this project:
R30 - Roadworks up to $30 Million. In addition, the contractor must be prequalified to bridgeworks category B1 - Bridgeworks up to $1 million or use a subcontractor who is prequalified to bridgeworks category B1. |
