| Description | TAFE Tasmania provides English language training to eligible migrants through the Languages–Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP). The client group is recently arrived migrants and humanitarian entrants as identified by the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA). Childcare is provided to under school age children in order for the parents to access English tuition. Tuition is mainly held at 26 Bathurst Street Hobart, with potential for some courses to be held elsewhere in the greater Hobart area. TAFE Tasmania is seeking tenders from either an individual or a consortium of childcare providers for the flexible provision of childcare. The childcare will be provided on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, mainly but not exclusively between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm, for under school age children, including times when children are not at Kindergarten. |
