Mr Peter Hoult- Chairman
Mr Peter Hoult commenced duties with the Tasmanian Gaming Commission in February 2008. He was previously the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (2007) and Secretary of the Department of Justice (2004 - 2007).

Mr Hoult replaced Clyde Eastaugh who served the Commission for 12 years.

Mr Hoult brings to the Commission a wealth of experience in public administration with a keen interest in regulatory matters.

Professor Kate Warner
Professor Warner has been a member of the Commission since 2002. She is a Professor of Law at the University of Tasmania and Director of the Tasmanian Law Reform Institute.

Professor Warner brings to the Commission an awareness and sensitivity to issues of social justice. As an academic, Kate also has a particular interest in the role of the law in regulating gaming in Tasmania and proscribing and regulating potentially harmful behaviour.

Ms Elizabeth Thomas
Elizabeth Thomas was appointed to the Commission in 2004. Ms Thomas is an independent business consultant, with extensive business experience in the public and private sectors, including eight-and-a-half years as CEO of The Public Trustee, Tasmania. Her previous experience includes an active involvement in the distribution of substantial discretionary charitable trust funds.

Ms Thomas has a particular interest in contributing to the strategic direction of the Commission.
